COS Educational Consulting Inc. is a Japanese educational consulting firm based in Vancouver, BC. COS centres their business on bringing students from Japan to ESL schools and colleges in the Greater Vancouver area (and beyond), with a focus on proposing them with a new lifestyle in the Western culture. COS also actively supports their clients through job placement and immigration consulting.
While working for the company as a designer, I took on a role to re-design their corporate website. The main objective of this project was to simplify the information on the website, as the old website was cluttered with redundant information. The information on the new website revolves around the company’s main business sectors: study / employment in the childcare field, study / employment in the creative and web-tech field, study in local high schools, nanny placement, immigration consulting. In order to briefly demonstrate the general experience the clients can have with COS, a short video clip comprised of various scenes is placed on the hero section of the home page.
