Initial Logo

This is a logo for my first name and last name initial, YM (Ray is my English name). As a logo, the design is comprised of a monotone colour and simple lines, but preserves originality and uniqueness.
My focus was to make the logo to have equal proportion between its width and height, and to make full use of the shape of the letters. As a solution for my first focus, I decided to use the circle for the outline. For my second focus, I connected the two letters, where the lines share the same angle.
The colour contrast between the two letters also describes the different sides within myself as a person.
