Video & Audio Production

This is a video that reflects on the everyday life of Yuki and Fumiya, the two creators from Japan, currently residing in Vancouver, Canada. The video takes you through scenes of the two protagonists, from when they wake up in the morning to when they go out to Vancouver downtown to spend their weekend holiday. The objective of this project is to showcase the techniques and skills in audio and video shooting/editing, and more importantly, to exhibit what we can do with film making from a creative perspective. Pre-production was the key to success, and we managed to plan out everything as we desired. This was the biggest learning I personally gained from this project. Script and scenario formation, scheduling / time management, use of video shooting techniques, use of audio recordings techniques, audio and video editing were the elements that we utilized to create this video. All sections of the video are shot using 2 DSLR cameras (Canon 6D and Nikon D7000), and the audio is recorded with a shotgun microphone attached on to the camera.
